Learner’s Performance Test
The learner’s academic performance test is a simple evaluation for prospective learners seeking admission. There is no pass or fail, but the test is important for supporting the learner’s development. It helps teachers identify the type of academic support needed to improve competencies in five key areas: phonemic awareness, letter knowledge, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension, based on the learner’s grade or age level. The test is administered by the class teacher in the presence of parents. Results are discussed with parents on the same day; however, no result sheet is provided. The performance test record is maintained in the student’s personal profile.
